Modular homes offer quality construction methods that take advantage of modern technology. Contrary to a traditional stick-built home, which is assembled at the home site and exposed to the elements throughout the building process, modular homes are constructed in a climate controlled factory by skilled craftsmen.
The homes are inspected by an independent third party inspector to make sure they meet or exceed state and local codes. Homes are transported to the building site where a crane sets the home on a basement or crawl space.
Exterior construction is performed to guarantee a weather tight home in one day. Utilities are connected by local contractors and the interior construction phase is completed. Appraising, financing, and insuring a modular home are the same as a site built home.
